UCAS Virtual Apprenticeship Fair 12th February 4-6,30pm

The popular virtual Apprenticeship Fair is back - all students are invited to meet up to 40 employers in two hours.

From finance to healthcare, and retail to the armed forces, this is a great opportunity for you to discover opportunities in a diverse range of sectors at all qualification levels from intermediate to degree apprenticeships.

Last year, over 1,000 students joined the fair. Teachers, advisors, parents, and caregivers are all welcome to come along and listen to live sessions and chat directly to employers.

Careers with Art History - FREE online event

he Association for Art History is holding a free online webinar next Saturday 7 December at 11am-12.30pm on Careers Beyond the Arts.  They will be joined by art history graduates now working in law, finance, insurance, video games, and school teaching. It is aimed at art history undergraduates and A level students.

Morrisons Manufacturing Degree Apprenticeship scheme!

This scheme can kickstart student’s management career and propel them into a leading role within Morrisons!

You will gain invaluable knowledge across manufacturing teams, where they'll learn what goes into Morrisons’ fast paced business. Day-to-day activities involved in this scheme involve: 
•  Running production lines
•  Finding solutions to improve their efficiency
•  Leading production teams and
•  Providing support to leading sites during peak trading times

The programme is 3 years in length and will involve a high level of on-the-job learning as well as working towards completion of a degree, so it will be challenging, but the career path this will lead onto is worth the challenge!

Morrisons offer unrivalled support towards the Bsc (Hons) in Charted Management at the University of Bradford, which they pay all the fees for!

What are Morrisons looking for?
•  A minimum of 112 UCAS points and GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and English
•  A full UK driving licence

UK University & Apprenticeship Search Spring Events

All events will feature a multitude of exhibitors including Russell Group, red brick and modern universities, as well as apprenticeships representing top UK companies and local providers. Vital seminars will take place at these fairs including UCAS personal statement, degree apprenticeships and student finance.

Campus events will also offer you and your students the special opportunity to experience what university is like first-hand. The Oxford fair will also feature campus tours.

Airbus - Airbus pioneer safe and sustainable aerospace from passenger jets to satellites. Their 2025 apprenticeship opportunities are now live and offer valuable practical training from Level 3-6 at sites across the UK. Roles on offer include electrical, mechanical and design engineering, craft and business apprenticeships.

Sheffield Hallam University - The Sheffield Business School Teacher and Adviser Network is an opportunity for business teachers to engage with peers, meet academics from across Sheffield Business School and participate in CPD opportunities. BBC - Apprenticeships are now open for 2025 applicants! From degree apprenticeships in digital user experience and data science to Level 5 journalism and Level 3 broadcast and media systems, the BBC has a role and location to suit all students. A second wave of opportunities will launch in December including business, marketing and production opportunities. Salary starting from £21,840.

British Airways - These apprenticeships are designed to give students the best possible career launch into British Airways' Customer, Business, and Operations teams. From Aspiring Leader and Business Professional programmes to Aircraft Engineer and Customer Service apprenticeships, there's opportunities at different qualification levels. Salaries range from £16,916 to £26,900.

Year 13 : Finance Insights Placement Scheme from One NHS Finance

Exciting career opportunity for young people in Year 13 (or equivalent), from low-income families to take part in a paid 12-month NHS Finance Insights Placement Scheme within the finance department of an NHS organisation in the South East Region.
